The Valley Fever Patient Forum: Listening, Learning, and Building Solutions is a patient-centered event hosted by MyCARE Foundation in conjunction with the 2026 Coccidioidomycosis Study Group Meeting. The event will bring together patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, public health leaders, policymakers, media representatives, and community partners to discuss patient experiences, barriers to diagnosis and care, research priorities, and opportunities to improve outcomes for people affected by Valley Fever.
The event will include MyCARE survey and outreach findings, a clinician-moderated patient panel, partner updates, open community discussion, and networking.
Format: In-person listening session, patient panel, and networking
Valley Fever affects patients, families, clinicians, and communities across California, Arizona, and other regions. This event will elevate patient voices and create space for meaningful dialogue among patients, caregivers, researchers, clinicians, public health officials, and policymakers.
