Ryan is a registered nurse who lives with chronic invasive candidiasis. Across these activities, Ryan shares the patient perspective on long-term treatment, outpatient infusions, and advocating for your care.

Emmalee (Emmy) Zwick – Caregiver

Emmy Zwick is a healthcare administrator who offers the caregiver perspective. She highlights how families can support loved ones during the prolonged treatment for chronic invasive candidiasis.

Stephanie Dunn – Patient Advocate

Stephanie is a person living with invasive candidiasis. She shares her survivor story to inspire and support patients navigating long and complex treatment journeys.

Jose Vazquez, MD – Infectious Diseases Specialist

Dr. Vazquez is the division chief of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Augusta University in Georgia. Dr. Vazquez addresses the importance of an infectious diseases’ consult for invasive candidiasis as well as the practical aspects of outpatient echinocandin therapy.
